In our Outdoor Education Training, we are committed to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment. All methods will be accessible for everyone's participation, and we will tailor our approach to accommodate diverse learning needs and styles. Our training will be based on experiential learning, where participants will actively engage in learning by doing, followed by reflective discussions. We will prioritize safety and diversity in our learning environment, fostering interactions and sharing among participants.

 Experiential Learning: Participants will immerse themselves in hands-on experiences, enabling them to grasp concepts through direct involvement and real-world applications. Our trainers will guide them in reflecting on these experiences, drawing valuable insights from their actions and observations.

 

 Safe and Inclusive Environment: We are dedicated to creating a safe and diverse learning environment. Participants will have the opportunity to interact and collaborate with others, fostering a sense of community and enriching the learning process.

  Flexible Learning Structures: Our day-by-day program will be structured in a flexible manner, allowing participants to engage with the content at a pace that suits their individual needs and preferences.

Main Topics:

 Exploring Outdoor Education Values: Participants will delve into the fundamental values of outdoor education, understanding how it contributes to holistic learning and personal growth.

  Theories Behind Learning Outdoors: We will introduce participants to key theories related to learning in outdoor settings, including the comfort zone concept, optimal arousal, and other relevant principles.

  Practical Outdoor Methods and Tools: Participants will actively practice various outdoor methods and tools. These hands-on activities will be both enjoyable and educational, allowing them to gain confidence in applying these techniques in their own youth work.

  Critical Reflection: We encourage participants to critically reflect on the outdoor methods and tools they experience. Through guided discussions, they will analyze the effectiveness and relevance of these practices in their specific contexts.

  Hike as an Educational Activity: Participants will explore the educational potential of hiking and how it can be used as an effective tool for experiential learning.

  Low-Rope Courses: We will introduce participants to low-rope courses as a powerful tool for fostering teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  Designing Outdoor Activities: Participants will learn the basics of designing effective outdoor activities, ensuring that the learning process is engaging and goal-oriented.

  Interconnections with Entrepreneurial Mindset: We will explore the relationship between outdoor education and the entrepreneurial mindset, highlighting how outdoor experiences can foster the competencies needed for entrepreneurship.

Social inclusion training

The training is designed to equip participants with innovative educational methods in the field of experiential learning. Our objectives are centered around discovering and developing competencies for effective facilitation, creating accessible activities, and implementing experiential learning methods to foster social inclusion.

Training objectives:

  Discover Innovative Educational Methods: Participants will explore cutting-edge experiential learning approaches, including facilitation through outdoor activities, performative and creative methods. They will uncover effective ways to promote inclusion and diversity in their educational practices.

  Develop Competencies as Facilitators: The training will focus on enhancing participants' skills as facilitators of experiential learning. By sharing best educational practices, they will gain valuable insights and knowledge to create more inclusive and impactful learning experiences.

  Creating Accessible Activities: We will train participants on how to design activities that are accessible to diverse target groups, applying the principles of universal design. By considering the needs of all participants, we aim to create an inclusive learning environment.

  Putting Experiential Learning into Practice: Participants will have the opportunity to immediately apply experiential learning methods through follow-up activities. This hands-on approach will solidify their understanding and boost their confidence in using these techniques.

Learning approaches

  Experiential Learning: Participants will explore the experiential learning theory by Kolb, emphasizing the role of experiences, cognition, and emotions in shaping knowledge. They will grasp the transformative nature of learning through hands-on engagement.

  Universal Design: Our training will demonstrate how universal design principles can be incorporated into non-formal education programs. This ensures that educational activities are accessible to all participants, regardless of their abilities.

  Inclusion Work: With a focus on inclusivity, the workshop will address the importance of adopting an inclusive approach in youth work, especially for those facing diverse challenges, social exclusion risks, and NEET.

Participant-Centered Practice:

Throughout the workshop, participants will be actively involved in creating and implementing activities. By directly experiencing the methods, they will gain a deeper understanding of their impact and effectiveness. Reflection sessions will encourage participants to assess their own competencies as facilitators and identify areas for growth.

Mindfullness and Stress Management
Training

Mindfulness and Stress Management Training, designed to equip participants with the tools and knowledge to manage stress effectively in both personal and professional aspects of life. Our objectives focus on identifying stress factors, introducing mindfulness techniques, learning stress management tools, and sharing best practices in stress management in various contexts.

Training objectives:

  Identify Stress Factors: Participants will gain insights into the different stress factors that influence people's lives. By understanding the root causes of stress, they can effectively address them and develop coping strategies.

  Theoretical Knowledge of Stress: We will provide participants with a theoretical foundation on the nature of stress, its impact on physical and mental health, and the interplay between stress and overall well-being.

  Personal Stress-Management Tools: Participants will be equipped with practical stress-management tools for everyday use. These tools may include physical techniques (e.g., relaxation exercises) and art-based methods (e.g., creative expression) to manage stress.

  Mindfulness and MBSR Techniques: The workshop will introduce mindfulness practices and explore the benefits of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques. Participants will learn how mindfulness can contribute to reducing stress and enhancing overall well-being.

  Time Management for Stress Reduction: Participants will acquire concrete skills in time management, enabling them to better manage their time and resources to minimize stress and improve productivity.

The workshops will be interactive and experiential, combining theoretical knowledge with practical exercises. Participants will engage in mindfulness practices, stress-reduction techniques, group discussions, and case studies to ensure a comprehensive understanding of stress management.

We will encourage active participation, allowing individuals to express their concerns and challenges related to stress and mindfulness. By focusing on individual experiences, the training will address personal stressors effectively.
